How to Reset Fire TV Remote

Unplug and Wait

To reset most Fire TV remotes, unplug your Fire TV from the power supply and HDMI input. Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

Press Buttons

If unplugging doesn't work, press and hold the Left button and Menu button at the same time for several seconds. Release the buttons when the remote's light blinks.

Hold Home Button

As a last resort, press and hold the Home button on the remote for around 10 seconds. Release the button when the light at the top of the remote turns on.
