Qualifying Results:

Max Verstappen claimed pole position for Red Bull at the British Grand Prix as McLaren produced a stunning qualifying performance to secure second and third on the grid.

Verstappen set a blistering lap time of 1:25.892 to beat McLaren's Lando Norris by 0.075 seconds. Norris' teammate, Daniel Ricciardo, was just 0.003 seconds further back in third.

Ferrari and Mercedes followed line astern in positions four to seven, with Carlos Sainz, Charles Leclerc, Lewis Hamilton, and George Russell all within a second of Verstappen's pace.

Fernando Alonso was the top Alpine qualifier in eighth, ahead of teammate Esteban Ocon and Alfa Romeo's Valtteri Bottas.

Alex Albon and Lance Stroll rounded out the top 10 for Williams and Aston Martin, respectively.

Qualifying Highlights:
